On February 1, 2026, ThinnkBotics partnered with Walnut Grove Robotics (walnutgroverobotics) to support a Girl Powered STEM event hosted at Walnut Grove High School in Prosper. This community event gave students hands-on exposure to coding and robotics, helping them see how programming and engineering come together in real robots.
Students explored how coding connects to robotics, including how simple programs can control movement, turning, and basic decision-making. They also practiced real engineering habits like testing, troubleshooting, and improving a design step by step. It was exciting to see students stay engaged, ask great questions, and build confidence throughout the session.
We are grateful to work alongside the Walnut Grove Robotics community and use the Walnut Grove High School facilities to bring this experience to local families. This event served students from the Prosper area, including Prosper ISD students.
ThinnkBotics looks forward to continuing to support hands-on STEM, coding, and robotics opportunities in Prosper and beyond. If you are looking for coding classes for kids or robotics programs for students in Prosper, we would love to connect and share how students can keep building skills through hands-on learning.
